The Large Disinfection Mat is designed to be placed at the entrances or exits of dairy barns, hog enclosures, poultry houses, and fruit, vegetable, or grain storage facilities of all types to disinfect workers’ boots and shoes. Disinfection Mat is made with tough poly mesh over a foam core with a non-permeable bottom and sides to contain the disinfection solution. When filled, the entrance Disinfection Mat repels bacteria and dirt and stays effective for approximately one week before it should be lifted, rinsed, hung overnight to drain, and refilled the next day. The mat is designed to be deep enough to disinfect yet shallow enough not to soak the user’s feet. The large disinfectant mat holds 2 gallons of solution when used on a smooth, level surface. The size of the mat is 34″ x 24″ x 1″ deep and it weighs 4 lbs.
